Mr. Hamid brings with him 44 years of experience in aviation, having worked with esteemed airlines such as Pakistan International Airlines, Emirates Airline, Gulf Air, and the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) as a Senior Aviation Security & Dangerous Goods Inspector. Beginning his career in cargo operations, he gained comprehensive knowledge in airport and cargo operations and marketing.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hamid has excelled in various IATA/ICAO training courses, earning distinctions and enhancing his expertise. As a Training & Development Specialist for 20 years, he has delivered cargo training courses globally, specializing in Dangerous Goods Regulations, Radioactive Materials, Live Animals Regulations, Cargo Tariff, Cargo Handling, and Cargo Proration.
Mr. Hamid holds diplomas in Air Cargo, Training, and Logistics & Transport. He was a member of the IATA/FIATA Cargo Training Development Group (IFDG) for 9 years and served as Vice Chairman from 2004-2005. As a consultant to IATA, he contributes to the development of Cargo Introductory, Cargo Rating, and Dangerous Goods Regulations course materials, and he regularly sets worldwide examinations for IATA.
