About Course
The program is designed to give you an overview specifically focusing on the subject of Human Factor. The course introduces you to the need of human factors, Human performance & limitations, social psychology, factors affecting performance, physical environment, tasks, communication, human errors and Hazards in the Workplace.
Course Objective
Acquire the basic knowledge and understanding of the Incident attributable to human factors/human error:

Understanding of Murphy’s Law, human performance and limitations

Understanding of Social Psychology; Peer pressure, culture issues

Understanding of factors affecting performance; Time pressure, deadlines, workload, sleep, fatigue, shiftwork; Alcohol, medication

Understanding of Physical Environment; Noise, temperature, Motion, vibration and Working environment

Understanding of Error models and theories, communication, tasks

Understanding of Hazards in the Workplace
