About Trainer

Hamid Jamil

Former GCAA – Senior Dangerous Goods Inspector

Hamid brings with him 47 years of experience working with Pakistan International Airlines, Emirates Airline, Gulf Air with their Cargo Operations and Training & Development departments. He also served the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of UAE as senior AVSEC & Dangerous Good Inspector from 2009 to 2021.

He was a member of IATA/FIATA Cargo Training Development Grope (IFDG) for 9 years and Vice Chairman of IFDG from 2004-2005. He is also a Consultant to IATA and contributes in developing Cargo Introductory, Cargo Rating and Dangerous Goods Regulations course material. He was also involved in developing the worldwide examinations for IATA for a number of years.
